Drive-In Classics

Here is a chance to see all of the movies that you missed when you were doing other things at the drive-in (we mean playing on the swing-set below the screen or the line at the concession booth, not the make out stuff).

Watch classic horror and Sci-Fi while you pretend you are in the backseat of mom’s station wagon, if you want, whatever, we don’t mind.

Get the popcorn ready because there are some zombies, space aliens, and classic spooky guys waiting for you here. All with a press of your remote.

Lots of movies hand picked as the best of the era to choose from with new selections added each week.

Examples include Night of the Living Dead, Plan 9 from Outer Space, The Last Man on Earth, Carnival of Souls, Dead People, Nosferatu, and others.

  1. Please, read the Help page and if that doesn’t answer your questions you can email tech support.

  2. I think this is a great deal, but I am just wondering if you have 3 Roku boxes in the same household, do you have to subscribe each one individually or can you share the account on all the Roku boxes in the same household?

  3. We can add multiple Rokus in the same household. You would just need to contact support with some account information and the serial numbers for each device.

  4. just ordered. cant wait for it to start. i call these “dollar store movies” – and i love them

  5. For only $3.00 a year even if they only update the movies a couple times it’s still cheaper than renting dvds. I spend more than that on a coffee and the movies are ones I can watch over and over.

  6. There’s a pretty good selection and I’m really excited about watching all these old movies again. I would have spent $3 renting just 2 for a weekend – this way I can watch them all, anytime, as many times as I want. Hopefully with more support, more movies will come as they grow! Looking forward to it! Thanks for the channel Flickstream! :)

  7. Harry Slaughter says:

I love the drive-in classics! These are awesome movies for late night movie fanatics. Thanks.

  8. I just purchased the ipad app for this and kung fu theater. these were actually the two best reason for me to purchase Roku, but now that I have them on the iPAD, i’m thrilled! is there still a monthly fee?

  9. For the early adopters of the iPad and iPhone channel apps there will not be a monthly fee.

  10. Jerry Fowler says:

I am definatly buying the year for my Roku !! I just got it and love the fact that I can see some of these old movies. Question. If I get this also for my iTouch do I have to purchaes it for both or as one account? Either way its still a great deal.

  11. Bill Green says:

Would love to see additional Sci-Fi such as “I Come in Peace” the original alien film…”It, the Terror From Beyond Space” etc. Also would love to see “Bridges at Toko-Ri”, Korean War film.

Great library and the additions just keep on comin’

  12. Dan Siciliano says:

They have a new section with all 3-D movies (old red and blue), but they look great!! What a cool way to spend a Saturday evening. Thanks for the great line-up guys…keep ‘em coming!

  13. Glenn Shaw says:

Best $3 I have spent in a while. There is nowhere else you can get these classics all in one place. I look forward to the library growing!

  14. Joe Hill says:

DO THE 3d MOVIES REQUIRED THE RED/BLUE COMBO COLOR GLASSES?

  15. That is correct.

  16. I sure love these channels. I love what you did with the movies and “categorized” them by monster! Thanks for providing great entertainment!

  17. Just wanted to say how much I like your improved streaming site. Since Netflx has gone with their new rate structure with streaming movies and DVDs, I have dropped the streaming movies. I can pull up your site and get a lot better selection of the genres I really like (Sci-Fi, Horror) Thanx a lot!
